What about security, I've read about attacks in Egypt?
A: Millions of people live happily in Cairo, it is a peaceful city. Unfortunately, there have been few attacks in Egypt in recent years, but they have been widely reported in the media and have fueled fear in the West. However, don't worry, my family has been commuting between Germany and Egypt for decades and continue to experience only good things. We also take care of that for you during your stay.

What type of seminars and retreats do you "prefer"? Can anyone book your retreat spot, no matter what line of business they work in?

We are open to everything that is life-affirming, positive, transformative, interesting, new or unusual.

I am not a teacher/seminar leader and I do not have my own group with which I will come to Egypt. But I would like to take part in a retreat/seminar with you. Is the?

Yes! Just get in touch with us and let us know your questions and requests, we will be happy to get in touch with you personally. We will then inform you without obligation in which retreat a place is waiting for you and "connect" you with the appropriate teacher.

keyword clothes. As a woman, do I have to wear a headscarf, a burqa or something else?

No. You can wear whatever you want. Outside the retreat area, however, we recommend avoiding hot pants, mini skirts or provocative clothing out of respect for the culture. When wearing tank tops, experience recommends putting a light cloth over your shoulders to avoid attracting unnecessary attention.

Do I have to apply for a visa?

No. All citizens of the European Union can easily buy a visa directly at the airport for 25 euros. Entry with an ID card is possible in combination with two passport photos.

How long does the passport/identity card/child passport have to be valid for?

All identification documents must be valid for at least 6 months after the journey started. So please check your ID document. If necessary, you can have a provisional passport or an "express pass" issued in the Citizens' Office. However, it is very expensive and only considered in an emergency.
